A life events index is being compiled by Borioller Solutions from both The Molong Express and The Molong Argus. The index is only partly completed.
If you are interested in this index contact can be made by writing to the Molong Historical Society at the address below, your query will be passed on to the project manager.
There are over 1,500 hard copy issues of the Molong Express held by the Society. Most of the early years are only intermittent issues. It was not until Mr J. W. Horsfield began his extensive binding project in 1971 that regular issues of the newspaper were kept for historical use by the Society.

Molong Cemetery
Transcription records of cemetery headstones are held by Cabonne Council. A small collection of obituaries are available to the Research Officer of The Molong Historical Society, of the pioneers buried in the Molong Cemetery. A photographic record of headstones has been done and can be
found at Australian Cemeteries Index.
Research Inquiries
The Research Officer will conduct a search of Society records and include a written report of any findings. A research fee is required. Extra costs will be billed where appropriate (postage etc.).
