Studio Flamenco- what do we do?
Studio Flamenco runs flamenco and Spanish dance classes for children and adults.
We also run classes in cajón (the principal percussion instrument for flamenco), castanets and guitar.
Dance students are involved in performances during the year as well as a theatre production at the end of each year.
Studio Flamenco has a professional performance ensemble that performs regularly at festivals, events and functions all over Australia.
Studio Flamenco operates a support program for flamenco guitar students which provides opportunities to play for dancers in classes and performance. The establishment of this program was supported by SANTOS.
Term 2 2008 commences on Monday 28 April and concludes on Saturday 5 July (see timetable for more details).
