Welcome to my web page. My name is Pen³. I make the occasional posting to the news group Japan.Anime.Evangelion and subgroups JAE.Asuka, JAE.Ayanami, and JAE.NERV. I am a penguin. The larger, more intelligent, more hansom clone of Pen². Pen² (or PenPen) is a pet 'hot springs' penguin on the Anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion.

What is a "hot springs" penguin I hear to ask. Well here is a translation of the side note for Penpen from the Japanese Evangelion DVD volume 1. (Quoted from Manbow Papa's posting to rec.arts.anime.misc, used without permission)

"Onsen Penguin"
Newly found Onsen Penguin. Likely obtained through a research of bio-technology. Being fond of Onsen (spa) and beer. Having intelligence equivalent to three year old child. Food is same as of man. A prepared refrigerator is his room.

PenPen sometimes thought he was more than he was.
