Chelsea's Swimming Homepage.........

Hi! I'm Chelsea Smith, I live in Adelaide S.A. and go to school in Modbury School. I am 11 years old and have been swimming for 10 years, I have got 29 medals and 6 trophies. I swim at Golden Grove and have been in Clovercrest Swimming Club for about 1 year. I am in the highest swimming squad which is called competitive and most of my friends I train with are older than me.

These are the medals that I won at the SAPSASA carnival.

This is a picture of my two S.A.P.S.A.S.A. medals One is silver the other is bronze. They are both for a freestyle relay. Next year I am hoping to get a gold medal for an individual event or a relay, or maybe both!.

On Saturday the 18th of March 1999, I competed in the Shell Age and although I didn't win any medals I achieved two personal best times and got in the finals for both of my swims. In the finals for freestyle I got fourth by four thousandths of a second, which was disappointing. In the finals for the butterfly I got fifth by ten thousandths of a second which was also disappointing
