Its been something that was inevitably coming, but it seems the end is truly now near. I'm torn between feeling sorry and sad and feeling relieved that he does not have to suffer anymore. It was fitting that the last time we were there in April (which seems not that long ago), he seemed to say goodbye. Not that he actually said that, just that the gestures and the eyes did all the talking. I guess that with so many things going good in my life right at this moment, this was something that was lingering and waiting to happen. Maybe this is part of the bigger picture that whoever is out there is controlling, another phase in my life has come along. We can't all live forever :(
