End of the financial year and I'm already trying to calculate how much money I'm getting back from the tax office... muwhahaha... and what I'm going to spend the money on :P

Mid week blues... It was cold, windy and wet. No wonder this is the best time to take a holiday to Queensland :D This is added to the fact that I got a postcard yesterday from Cor (even though they have been back over a week already) from when she was in Maritius. Her writing was really small and kinda hard to read, but yah, thanks la. :D Your postcard will be in the mail soon, although I have no idea why you want a postcard from Aus, you're going to be here soon enough :P

(Rant on) Hmmm, its interesting how you can not see someone for over a year, yet they are apparently reluctant to share with you what has been going on in their lives. These are apparently your friends too. I wonder why I spent a lot of time with them and have known one of them since high school. Friends uhh, yeah right. When I am talking to you, giving you an update on what I have been up to, it would just be too hard to reciprocate wouldn't it. Just stop being so friggen selfish already, because I probably know a lot more than I'm going to tell you. Real friends would care enough to share. Ok, enough of that (Rant off)
Today must have been the first sunny day in over a week, missed the sunshine so much :D Had Pho in Victoria St for lunch, possibly the best in Melbourne :) Just thinking back, the weekend started off pretty well, had a good time on Friday night, but still ended up lacking or not fulfilling its true potential. Its just so hard to get a grasp on exactly how it is meant to be (or there is the theory that fate will run its course regardless) but here's hoping that it is the beginning (well, the pre-beginning some would say) of something great. :P
Edit: Oh yah, there's a distinct lack of updates as I have a case of "I really can't blog about anything interesting so I won't" syndrome :P

The weekend, went out both days and almost froze to death, especially Saturday... brrr. Caught up with and had lunch with Linah the (in)famous (community) radio star ;) Woke her up actually, even though it was like 1pm, bloody uni students :P I also would have caught up with Tedy but my phone call didn't wake him up. He did call me back, at 6pm :D
Back into the habit of work now, its just a weekly cycle of turning up but I guess the work is more interesting now. I'm not sure how I'm going along with the project but some things are just frustrating when there just refuses to be an overall solution. Bah! :P
Teflon Boy is off on his Thailand (drinking) trip on Thursday, last day at work tomorrow. He's stopping off in Singapore on the way back so I'm getting him to pick up some stuff for me. Such efficient usage of people travelling ;)

Had a lovely night out at Tides restaurant catching up with Chris, Nick, Caroline and Ben. Good food (at half price too :)) and a good place, didn't realise that by the time we left, over 2 hours had gone by so quickly. Tides is basically out on the pier on what used to be docks and now has changed into a business park as is most of Port Melbourne. Not much else around apart from that though and we used the e-book card so it was buy one main, get one free so the bill wasn't expensive at all! :) It also started raining whilst we were inside which was a bit crappy but yeah we need the rain (and more).

I don't have the passion for blogging these days, probably because of work but also just that there is nothing much happening to blog about. Feeling so... uninspired at the moment. Thought after my trip I would have more to talk about, but just getting back into the normal routine and its kinda safe and secure, no bumps or unexpected surprises.

Long weekend (after 3 days of work) :P Slept in this morning, not really sure what time I woke up, but didn't get out of bed till 11am and it was still like 7 degrees... brrrrrr... so cold :(
Caught up with Chris and Vanessa last night at his house and watched a DVD, some stupidly funny movie, uhh, Super Troopers(?) with people that I didn't know. Bit of senseless laughter to end off the week. Actually, the week has gone by really quickly, although I haven't really done anything, just getting back to "normal".
The thing that I have learnt this week (not by my own experience, but rather by observation) is that actions have consequences. Those decisions that ocurred before I saw before I went on my holiday have had serious consequences. The only sad thing is that its not just the people who made the decisions who have to live with the actions but everyone else around them. Not a good situation to be in.

I've started putting the photos from my trip, so far its just a dumping place for the thumbnails. I've linked a few pictures from Hong Kong to the larger versions, the page is here Nothing much happening at the moment, still falling asleep really late and have a bit of a cough, but back at work today :) Added to that is the fact its a long weekend holiday on Monday :D

I'm back! The holiday did me a lot of good, getting away to a different country was even better, but the best thing was coming home. There is no feeling like it that when you get back and you know you are home. Of course, being like 5 degrees stepping out of the airport probably wasn't exactly the best thing after coming from 30 degree heat and humidity, but hey.. I was home! :)
