Hiatus...

I apologise for the lack of posts, as I have nothing really interesting to blog about and also been super busy at work. A vicious cycle of work and home then follows during the week. Although, all the hard work is starting to pay off with some opportunities coming up here and there. Things are looking up! :)

Its been over a year now. I think its time to take that next step, I get the feeling that I am ready, that I have something to finally look forward to. But life is complicated and things that should just happen naturally don't because of the stupidest of reasons. I guess its all up to fate. No matter how much planning we do, no matter what you want it to happen, it all comes down to fate. Lets see what happens.

First day back and I realised by about 12 that I needed another holiday already.. muwhahaha. Oh well, such is life that you want those things that make you feel happy. It was worth it :) I'm really happy that I got to meet up with a number of people in Singapore. Hopefully I will be back again soonish to get together with them again, but for now working hard earning money is the thing on my mind ;)

Four days away doesn't seem enough. I think I have eaten enough to last a week though. I didn't actually buy any clothes for myself over the 4 days that I stayed in Orchard. Hmmm, is there something wrong with that?? :P (apart from the affordability of the label brands) I had a good time though, met quite a few people and saw a lot of shopping malls/areas (Suntec, Raffles, Citylink, Bugis Junction, Chinatown)

Su Ann, I didn't buy Godivas for you. I think having Godivas once every 3 months is enough for now. You might get too addicted otherwise :P You just wait a little longer ok? ;) A mini-break/holiday is exactly what I needed just now. Flight back last night was good. Was able to stretch out over 3 seats as the plane was probably 50% full in economy. Slept for 5 out of the 6.5 hours flight time :)

We have come so far, yet we have so far to go. For the upcoming trip, I have booked everything online. Plane tickets (bought them and checked in), hotel, even the airport bus tickets. This has saved me so much time, considering our plane leaves at the middle of the night, its good to be prepared (good luck finding help at that hour :P). The thing is though, I've had to print out everything to make sure that if something does go wrong, I have proof of the transaction. The number of pieces of paper that I have for everything is a bit ridiculous, basically two pieces for every thing and every transaction. Just like the paperless office, we have so far to go :D

Its mid-week already. I've been keeping quite busy doing things. It helps to not have time to dwell and think about it. Just get on with life is the main thing. A part of me still is dwelling on it though. Hmmm. Had the Grand Tofu + Cafe EG double last night with Fel. She agreed to have dinner with me if I taped The OC for her *rolls eyes* It was a good night out, it all seems to go so quickly though when I am with her. There's some sort of connection between us I've noticed recently but I guess after meeting her in like 2nd year uni, we've always had that. I'm actually quite enjoying this week :)

Having said that though, I'm sooo looking forward to this weekend. I get to fly away to tropical weather and veg out for a few days. ;) I also get to meet up with several people, mainly Cor, Contralto and Claud (hmm.. the 3 C's... lol) If anyone else wants to meetup whilst I'm there, email me :P I'm there till Tuesday. The best thing about this week is, after all that, that its pay week. muwhahaha. Too bad most of it (and the pay for the next month or so) will be spent paying off the credit card bill... bah :P
