Work has just been ok. Very average actually. I guess its about time to settle down for a bit more of a gradual climb rather than out there looking for a job all the time. But who knows, you never know when an opportunity may come up! :P

Gah! Today we were just minding our own business and having lunch on the grass and this reporter walks up to ask us about Lleyton Hewitt and his new fiancee. Hmm, likely to be fishing for comments but both my friends made it onto the TV tonight but I didn't. Cheh :P

Seems like summer has hit, and all in the same week. Its meant to be 35, 37, 29 and so on for the next week. I'm so not looking forward to it :( I'm also not looking forward to the aircon in the office failing. It hasn't so far, but I think we're pushing our luck with this week. Oh wells.
Things regarding a particular person alluded to last week are much better. We just have to keep doing the things that we want and let someone else deal with them. Its one of "known problems" for a long time. If only we could "fix" it once and for all. We can only hope! :P
Some other random thoughts/happenings:
-the guy who sat down next to me on the tram this afternoon took 1.5 seats out of the 2 seats. Thanks for crushing my jacket too... grrr (at least I was in the aisle)
-I think I've become addicted to the "afternoon snack" attacks whereby I go and spend money on junk food for no apparent reason about 3pm
-Found out buying 10kg bags of rice is cheaper than 25kg bags when its on special (at Coles this week :D)
-Sent my wireless router back to the manufacturer to be fixed/replaced.
I think thats about it :D

I learnt a valuable lesson this morning. NEVER walk into the toilets in the morning as they have just been cleaned and all you can smell is bleach. Also, you get blinded by the two spotlights that add light to the basin area (even though it is already bright enough without them). It's like an interrogation room! O_o At least you come out woken up. :D

I have a lot to blog about, but just wanting to gather my thoughts first. This could be one of these minor things that blows up. Its all about jealousy and the fact that some people just can't take it that they don't have friends.

At least, its finally the end of the week. Its been one of those weeks where motivation is not at its peak but with work still needing to be moved along. The last few days have been way too hot for my liking, unless I didn't have to work and could stay at home (or go to the beach :D) Bit of excitement today in the city when a taxi hit a tramstop and flipped after it was carjacked. This was about 200m away from my office so of course we all went down and checked it out at lunchtime. :D
Finally getting my wireless router on Monday hopefully and most likely will be calling Andy up (who is in Malaysia) to tell me how to set it up. Hopefully I'm not *that* clueless with networking, even though I haven't done it for a long while. Oh, also organised for a gift for a certain someone who I hope regularly reads my blog. ;) You know who you are :P

Saw Nick for the final time before he flies out to NZ on Wednesday (tomorrow) morning. He's off for his new career as a vet treating lots of animals (mainly sheep I'm guessing). Its kinda sad when long time friends move overseas and you are restricted to seeing them like once or twice a year and only really keeping in touch via email, but such is life in the present day world. Who knows where will end up working in a few years time, but at least now I have somewhere to crash when I go to NZ on holidays :D

It has been a long weekend with lots of driving around. I had relatives visiting this weekend so ended up driving them down to Sorrento and to see the penguins at Phillip Island. We also had lunch at Arthur's Seat with a great view (even though the weather could have been a bit sunnier) but no complaints. Had a good time and collected a lot of bugs on the front of the car. Have to do that kung-fu driving like in the merc ad maybe? :D
Just finished making webcam emoticons for pinkpau. She's growing up so quickly, much different to when I saw her in May last year. Apparently I haven't changed in the 2+ years that she has known me? hmmm <_< :D

Aiyah, its already 6 days into the new year and this is the first entry O_o New Year's Eve was great (again) although I did have a bit of a headache. Went to a BBQ at a friend's place then headed into the city to watch the midnight fireworks. Much better than last year when we got crushed on the bridge. This year it was by the banks of the Yarra and with quite a bit of space around us :)
Back at work now, and looking forward to about 2 weeks till the next public holiday! :P Things are a bit hectice with quite a bit of work to be done. At least now its quiet in the office at the moment so not many phone calls to distract me from my important... uhh... web surfing and stuff, with some work thrown in here and there :D
