Surely this insanity can't go on much longer. I really need a holiday and this is the first day back after the Easter break :(

I have no idea how I'm meant to go back to work. Its only Easter Sunday and it seems like I have been on holidays for a week. Must say its damn good though. :D Haven't really thought about work (not much anyways) so Tuesday is going to be a bit of a let down :(

Great to see that the folks that manufactured my PocketPC have got it all sorted. I guess they used to make good printers but now they want some more segments to try and dominate in. :P I downloaded an update that apparently fixes IE (PIE actually) from crashing (so much, I hear you say :P). The only problem is that it specifies you are meant to have v1.09 but I have already upgraded to v1.10. Thought it wouldn't be a problem, apart from having to install everything again onto it. Geez... So that was my Sunday night *sigh*

Ultimate geekiness seen on the train tonight. "There's no place like 127.0.0.1". Sad thing that I actually understood what that meant... *sigh* :P

Had a very "tramey" weekend as on Saturday the tram museum was open underneath Jenny's apartment, so I popped in to have a look. Nothing like some fine craftsmanship that is seriously lacking in todays "plastic" trams :D Sunday we went to Ballarat to the Begonia Festival, and rode on some heritage trams (from the carpark to the entrance) because it was too hot to walk (and the fact that it was free!). Even got a "vintage" tram ticket that used to be issued (ahhh.. those were the days) :P
Back to work this morning and feeling kinda lethargic after the long weekend of relaxing. The friggen phone didn't stop ringing for two hours. And the assistance given by certain other individuals amounts to going backwards. *sigh* Oh well... must keep my eyes open for possible opportunities.

I found this story quite amusing... I guess crash test dummies should also be made in male and female types?
Its the long weekend. Another RBJ meetup and maybe Ballarat on Sunday. Life is good right now :)

Right... now that they have spammed the English speaking world with their "el-presidente of some African country wishes to give this money to you" (along with free steak knives) if you give us your banking details scam, I received this morning the same email in Spanish. Now the rest of the world can endure the same crap as us :P

Went to Caroline's housewarming in Frankston... had wayyyy too much to eat. But it was nice, house is pretty cool and although I wouldn't want to have to drive up to work every day, I think it would be nice to live down there. Especially with the beach so close by.

I hate 4WD drivers. Especially bad was this one tonight who thought he was king of the world in his Toyota Landcruiser. Swerving and speeding like he was driving a sports car to get past people (quite dangerously), yet using his high beams because he was following someone turning right when he want to go straight. Must be a guy going through mid-life crisis as he was 35... the number plate was the initials to American Airlines 1970. Bloody Toorak tractors should be banned from the streets... bah >_<

Mannn... its another month already. First day of autumn was hot, like 36 degrees and I had to be out in the middle of the day. All part of the job I guess :( It gives some sort of "break" from the Monday to Friday work cycle and its a good chance to see the world during the day when usually I'm stuck in the office. Wouldn't mind it to be a little cooler though :D
Other than that, we've booked to go to Sydney in April for Karen's engagement party and also to visit Cor who is moving there in two weeks. Muwhahahaha, another person I can scam... uhh... go and visit when I am there. ;)
