It took all of 5 seconds to take away that I had actually been on holidays and not doing work for the past 4 days. Had a MPB training session today so most of the day was spent in a room receiving training but decided to go in earlier to the office (next door to the training, which doesn't help) to clear/check on some work. Found that what I asked nicely to be done wasn't done and then proceeded to stay till past 6:30pm (after the training finished early at 3:15pm) trying to play catch up. *sigh* The more things change, the more they stay the same. On a slightly better note, around 5 months after I started in this position, I now have business cards *rolls eyes*
Anyhow, Sydney was great. Didn't take many photos but will put them up at a later date (when I get them out of Jenny's camera :P) A brief account of what we did in Sydney. Finally met up with
Alaysia at Darling Harbour on Friday night to have dinner at
James Squire (still trying to figure out how one person could eat a full pork rib rack!) and Ice Cream followed by The Interpreter in George St. Saturday night was Karen and Nick's engagement party at
Lowenbrau at The Rocks. Nice place and nice company. Sunday was a new experience, waiting 1.5 hours for a table at Chatswood for yum cha with my relatives.
