A look into the life of someone who is searching for everything without a map.

Sorry for the lack of updates, been playing a waiting game for the last two weeks. I just want the result already, at least then I can either accept or move on (not that I have been sitting doing nothing) :D

Went to my first first birthday party last weekend (technically second after my own :D). It was for baker's daughter has just turned one. Of course, teflon boy and I shared a present, the noisiest one we could find, just to drive her mum mad :D I now have nickname for almost everyone at work, in addition to those mentioned before, there is worm, fisher, twin, pyscho boss (:D), tree and a few others.

Meanwhile, life goes on, and work is just... work. Stuck in a bit of a rut with no real motivation to do anything, just plod along. I guess this is what happens when you run out of enthusiasm to try and change the world, and merge into the "let it be" peon. Is this what was meant to always happen or is it just the organisational culture?

It seems as though our street is having a "who can leave their bin(s) out the longest" competition. *rolls eyes* The current record is 9 days with 3 bins on the opposite side of the street a few doors down. These are the same people that let junk mail build up in their mailbox until the oldest ones eventually end up on their lawn as new ones have been pushed in. So much neighbourhood pride in our street :D

Hah! Received an offer from one market scamming "Direct Share Purchasing Corporation Ltd" telling me I could sell the shares to them for $3 each when they are worth $4.80+ each. So sad and not the first time. Apparently this David Tweed idiot has made millions offering low value for shares. Oh well, I think I will just send back to blank form to them in the reply-paid envelope ;)

Random things over the past few days/nights:
- Real life Mr Incredible seen in Noble Park driving an old Fiat 650 (?). The guy looked like he could have picked up the car with one hand. :D
- Nothing like getting a seat on the peak hour train on the way home only to have a rather "large" person take up 1/3 of your seat too. At least I was in the aisle and not against the window *phew*
- You know its the 21st century when your mum goes on holidays and emails you instead of calling *rolls eyes*
- Dancing with the stars just goes on and on and on.... :(
- The 4400 just keeps on getting weirder :D

This article is quite funny and so true. I especially like the profiles and how to deal with them...

Gah, why can't they get the forecast right, two days in a row.... "sunny, few clouds" has meant "windy, rain, sun, and a few clouds" I guess this is Melbourne *rolls eyes* :D
