Read this article in The Age this morning about the mayor of London's crusade trying to get rid of pigeons. OK, so having an obsession to get rid of pigeons from public areas is weird, but that is nothing compared doing a doctoral thesis on "pigeon-human interaction in urban areas". O_o

I guess it was a natural merger, now Nestle can control both sides of the diet equation. Charging them for products to make people gain weight, and charging them again to take the weight off. :D

Had a problem with my mobile bill today, the fact that I didn't receive it. It's always bad customer service when you have to explain your problem three times to three different people. First was "oh, you are a corporate customer, so I will have to transfer you." Then came "oh, I'll put you through to our billing area." At this point, I'm thinking WTF is going on. So much for "corporate customer care." All this just to get a bill reprint and to make sure that it arrives next month. *sigh*
On a brighter note, true friends are always there when you need them. I'm grateful for the friends that I have, the ones I see almost every day/week and those that I know I can depend on to help me out when I have a problem. :)

Woot! As expected, not many early starters this morning at work. Most (including me) were seriously lacking sleep, the combination of the long weekend and the football match on last night. At least it was worth watching all the way to the end. :)

Work has been absolutely hectic lately. Its just so "nailing jelly to the wall" combined with "pulling my hair out" sort of work. Frustration has set in and I don't know how to get rid of it :( Anyways, hopefully they will sign on the dotted line tomorrow and we can move on with things. Gah!

Sorta day off today (working from home), so ventured to Shira Nui for lunch. I've been before but that was *ages* ago. Things haven't changed much, the food is still absolutely devine, the service still exactly what you would expect. *two thumbs up*
