"Special Lunch"

We were invited about a month ago to a "special lunch" at a winery. Nothing out of the ordinary there as these friends do these sorts of things from time to time. At the time, I asked whether it was a "celebration" or "announcement" was the reason behind this and this was quickly dismissed as just a "lunch with some friends"...

So that lunch was today... and much to our surprise (and lack of dressing up)... it turned out to be a WEDDING RECEPTION O_o

So here is Jenny and I (both in jeans and Sunday casual, very under dressed) with the bride.


Speech/toast given with both their families (who I'm not sure understood too much of it) It was a struggle to get her to agree to just a simple speech :D

Reasons you should never playing sport...

Played tennis for the first time in about 2 years tonight. All I know is, I'm going to be like stone tomorrow. Muscles are already starting to ache... :( But it will get better as I hopefully will be doing this on a (semi) regular basis.

Oh, went to see The Phantom of the Opera last night. Great show and definitely (duh!) a classic. Seen it before but the set, the screenplay and effects were much better this time. Stage could have been bigger though for more effect (ie. the chandelier). Also didn't think much of the "slimline" seating and I sure as hell wouldn't want to be caught in an emergency in those seats. :D

Quarterly update

I'm sounding like a (now) ex-director that I worked for. Updates only come around every quarter or so. Anyways, few things have been happening in my life lately...

Jenny (finally) became a full Australian citizen.. just in time to enrol to vote for this year's election :D
