How To Get To Heaven Do you know for sure that if you died today you would go to Heaven? My friend, it is very simple to know for sure. You see, God is a God of love and has a wonderful plan for your life. The Bible tells us that He loves us so much that He offers us a free gift of eternal life. This is an amazing thing that is worth considering carefully.... ....no God, no life - know God, know life!

To start with, here is an important Bible verse to read:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

The Bible also tells us that all men are sinners and this is where the problem lies. God made man in His own image. He gave man the ability to choose right from wrong. We choose to sin and our sins keep us from God. Our sins have separated us from God:

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

God’s Word also says that sin must be paid for:

“For the wages of sin is death…” Romans 6:23

Wages means payment. Hence, the payment of our sin is death and hell, separation from God forever. If we continue in our sin, we shall die without Christ and be without God forever. BUT here is the Good News – the Gospel. The Lord Jesus Christ has already paid the penalty for your sin. He collected the wages of death for you!

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

All of our sins were laid on Christ on the cross. He paid our sin debt for us. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood for our sin. He was buried and three days later He arose from the dead. He is alive for evermore.

Now it is up to you to personally pray and receive Christ by faith and be born again. Jesus Christ wants to have a personal relationship with you. He is waiting for you to receive Him into your heart and your life! Admit you’re a sinner and need to be saved from Hell. Be willing to turn from your sins (ie. repent) and live a life as God wants you to live.

We must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and receive Him by personal invitation:

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

Are you willing to ask Jesus to be your Saviour? Then please ask Him to save your soul in a prayer something like this:

“Lord, I know that I am a sinner. Up until now if I died, I would not go to Heaven. I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins, and come into my life and be my Saviour. Help me to live for you from this day forward. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
