| Now these birds hide very well in bushes. There are several types. Most of them are brown, but they have some white and yellow markings on them. Because they like small bushes close to the ground, these birds are easy catches for cats and foxes. Thank goodness treecreepers like to nest high in the trees. SPECIAL NOTES Make sure the cats cannot get to this nest. Attach it firmly to a branch high up and in a place where it's not easily seen if possible. 5 metres is ideal! Face the hole down a little and to the south-east if possible. This way little rain and hot sun can get in. Ants can sometimes be a problem too. NESTING SEASON |
