1932-1960

Twin screw motorship. Built 1928 for Nelson Line. Entered RML fleet 1932 under Scheme of Arrangement following collapse of RMSP; name unchanged. Operated passenger and refrigerated cargo service from London to Brazil and River Plate. Sold 4/1960 to British Iron & Steel Corp. for breaking up on the Clyde. Her sister ships, Highland Brigade, Highland Chieftain and Highland Princess, left the fleet in 1959, all for further trading.

1939-1971

Twin screw steamer. Built for mail, passenger and refrigerated cargo service from Southampton to Brazil and River Plate but was used as troopship in World War II immediately on completion. First commercial voyage 1/1948. Converted to full-time cruise liner 1960, based at Southampton. Sold for breaking up at Ghent, Belgium, for £325,000; handed over 7/5/1971.

Twin screw motorship. Built for mail, passenger and refrigerated cargo service from London to Brazil and River Plate. Transferred 1966 to RML subsidiary Welldeck Shipping Co; name unchanged. Transferred 1968 to Shaw Savill Line; renamed Akaroa (tons now 18,565) and used on round-the-world service. Sold 1971 to A/S Uglands Rederi, Grimstad, Norway; renamed Akarita; converted to side-door vehicle carrier (tons now 11,081). Sold 1977 to Sagitta (Liberia) Ltd, Monrovia; renamed Hual Akarita; 1981 renamed Akarita (same ownership). Out of register 1983 (broken up Taiwan).

Sold 1971 to Leif Höegh & Co A/S, Oslo, Norway; renamed Höegh Traveller and converted at Rijeka to side-door vehicle carrier (tons now 10,665). Sold 1977 to Ace Navigation Co, Monrovia; renamed Hual Traveller; 1981 renamed Traveller (same ownership). Out of register 1983 (broken up Taiwan).

Sold 1977 to Ace Transportation Co, Monrovia; renamed Hual Trotter; 1981 renamed Trotter (same ownership). Out of Register 1983 (broken up Taiwan).
