The Standard D110 Chassis
Well this is how the project really started!!!
This is a D110 rolling chassis in original and complete form.
This is the position of the original chassis outrigger and
the cross members - these will have to be removed and placed 10" further back.
I was unable to do the work on the chassis - mainly due to injury, but
not sure my welding skills are upto such an important job!!!
So I enlisted a mate of mine who has many years of experience in chassis building
and modifying Land Rovers for racing purposes.
Here the rear tub and the chassis are being towed away to both be shortened
- both to different tradesman.
You can just make out the black line on the front of the tub marking the
10" to be cut off.
