Day 12 Cam Belt replacement
After a night lift the motor / gearbox / transfer was in the chassis,
this was an important deadline as I had booked the car in for a cam belt kit /
timing housing + cover seals / new kick down cable / ZF service / tappet set /
all new belts / breathers etc etc.
All parts were supplied by www.karcraft.com.au and all mechanical work was carried
out by Mark at British and European Motor Works www.bemw.com.au - well recommend both
You can see the old cam belt has the outside edge already taken out!!!
All important bits checked out fine - crankshaft key way / timing / valves timing etc
As you can see the beast is coming alive!!!
