Leafy seadragons

I love photographing Leafies! Easy access to these remarkable creatures is something that we are fortunate to have in SA. Their extraordinary camouflage makes them very rarely seen by the casual diver.  

I've spent the last 5 years surveying the population at Rapid Bay, an hour's drive south of Adelaide.  Individual dragons have unique facial markings and this makes it possible to identify them over a period of time, hence the names.
