The Mighty Port Adelaide Football Club
Round 14
Fremantle Dockers V Port Adelaide Power
Fremantle
11.5 (71)
Port Adelaide
25.13 (163)

Again, in the words of Homer Simpson - DOH!  92 points! Can you believe that !!!  Port Adelaide had its biggest margin in its five year history. Despite Matty not being on ground, our midfield came alive again with 'Lips' Burgoyne and Tredders booting 10 goals between them.

Wangers was definitely B.O.G. and got 2 goals of his own. Kicking 5 quick goals in the 2nd quarter just before the rain came down really made a difference. Fremantle looked truly shocking and as coach Ben Allan said after '...our skills were deplorable...".

I think Port is smart enough not to let this win go to their heads because, frankly, Freo was going to pretty much be marked down as a win.  The margin has certainly helped percentage and we're back in the 4 BUT we have some pretty tough games coming up with Richmond smarting from this weeks loss to the Hawks meeting us at Footy Park next week.  Bring it on !!!!

Highlight:
1) Everything after the middle of the 2nd quarter. Oh yeah, baby !
2) Meady's jump for joy after kicking a goal in this, his 100th club game. Congrats on such a sensational achievement.

Lowlight:
1) Derek Murray wearing a CROWS mouthguard ????
