The Mighty Port Adelaide Football Club
Round 15
Port Adelaide Power V
Port Adelaide
14.12 (96)
Richmond
7.10 (52)

Firstly, a sincere round of hearty congratulations to Fabian "Flash" Francis and Stephen Paxman for their 100th and 200th games respectively. Some great memories and, Fabian, seeing your 70m torp from just outside centre to goal earlier on in the season is something I will never forget for the rest of my life.

Back to winning ways and what a fantastic game. Had everything in it and I can certainly tell you that my voice suffered at the end of the night screaming for joy, but more for screaming at the truly PATHETIC umpiring which could have easily handed Richmond the game if they capitalised, gained some momentum and were a bit more accurate.

It has to be the most aggressive game I have seen Port play (even more than the Geelong game earlier in the season) and I was super proud that we stood up and dished it back.  No one was seriously injured as a result but we did lose Che to a hammy for 3 weeks (supposedly). The return of Josh, Matty and Kingsley ( shortlived - I reckon he'll get 2-3 ) was absolutely crucial in the midfield and some absolutely standout performances by Monty, Tredders and Stuey made it all happen. The way our defenders cut them off was awesome and there was some brilliant attacking in the start of the 2nd term when we did not let Richmond move the ball out of our 50 for at least 7 - 8 minutes. Sensational.

Some really superb goals and Stueys one handed grab off of a sloppy defensive kick off Ottens and then a snap goal was a pearler. I turned to see my mate, Conny, absolutely beaming with delight and couldn't have felt happier. 2nd on the ladder. Too good. Thanks guys, for a superb game.

Highlight:
1) Giving as good as we got. So good that Kingsley got reported! Nice left jab, though Adam !
2) Flash and Pacco being led off the ground on their team mates shoulders.

Lowlight:
1) Umpire Kelsey... you dirty maggot piece of shit.
