Jebu is a three piece rock outfit, inspired by the genuine love of music. Consisting of guitar, bass and drums with all three vocalising, life started out as a cover band from which a style naturally developed, until a decision was made 3 years ago to completely devote themselves to original music.

Currently, the band has 2 albums worth of original songs of which the majority have been recorded on 4 track and 8 track equipment. Jebu have spent the last 12 months at venues such as The Commercial, The Gov, The Royal, The Heritage, Duke of Edinburgh and The Semaphore as an original band.  However, the ultimate goal of the band is to professionally record their material where it is confident of capturing it’s musical spirit.

There is no lack of experience in the live domain with the band having played the cover scene for 2 years, before switching to originals. Members come from various groups such as Hotel California ( Eagles concept band ), Judge McKone, Mercury, Shakey Ground, Godzilla, Legal Eyes and other temporary outfits.

The songs have been drawn from many influences over the years and the band has developed a hard rock edge without sacrifice of melody. This is evident by the fact that the majority of songs still stand strong when played with only the accompaniment of an acoustic guitar.

It is difficult to categorise Jebu, but as well as the hard rock flavour, it has definite traces of blues and funk
