25 September 2003
Port Adelaide's season was again disgracefully brought to an end.
Some friends are getting married soon and a lot of things are
on the go. Just enjoying life and enjoying work too. I keep on
thinking of going away again....and again.... and again. Aargh
! Thought this was a really cool demonstration of where we're
at, humanity, I mean Put Your Life in Perspective

Spring is in the air. Finals footy is here and life is good. My
family seem to follow the trends set by me. Mum and her husband
are going to France and Italy on Thursday, 2 work colleagues
are
in France and England now and I am very envious knowing how good
it is after having just been there. Oh well. All we can do is
look
forward to our next trip. Work is work. Play has really been taking
up by a new fitness regime and I have left "Slinky" to
pursue different creative avenues.
21 July 2003
A whole year has passed since my last entry because I've been...
well, too damn lazy to update my site. Um, got married, we've just
come back from a great trip overseas to France and Italy where we
met so many fantastic people and saw so many incredible things,
Port has top spot on the ladder and we're all a year older. I've
updated my AFL Archives and also
added a Trip Diary and Photo
Gallery. Enjoy.

Had a bit of a cold over the week and am still recovering with a
persistent "Post Viral Cough" - Thanks Dr.Mick. Went and
saw Spiderman on Friday night and I thought it was the best, most
true to the creator's vision, of all the Superhero movies that I
had seen up to this point. Tobey Maguire was a stroke of masterful
casting and having Sam Raimi as director was even better. After
reading that Stan Lee, the creator of Spiderman at Marvel Comics,
thought this was the best portrayal of one of his characters, I
was sold... and it is a great movie. Very human and believable in
some ways. Check it out.

Well, Pete won Big Brother. In retrospect...big deal. We had our
Slinky gig on Friday and it went off. All our friends rocked up
which was great to see and it was a great night. Personally, I am
still half deaf in my right ear from the brand new 14" Crash
I bought and felt like puking halfway through the 2nd set because
I was exhausted. That's how it goes playing in a band...
30 June 2002
It's only a few hours before the Brazil v Germany World Cup final
which should be pretty awesome. Personally, I'm going for Brazil
as I have fond memories of them unfurling a banner after they won
the 1994 World Cup which paid tribute to Ayrton Senna who died that
year and read, "Ayrton, we accelerate with you." Not to
mention greats like Pele, Romario, Ronaldo, Bebeto and other greats.
Top Stuff. Big Brother Series 2 ends tomorrow night with the group
whittled down to 2 tonight. Who will win? Personally, I hope Sahra
wins because she is probably the only one that I could relate to
on a permanent basis. Pete is a bit of a drag and Marty is a dinkum
Aussie who will probably win because he's your archetypal Aussie
bloke. It's time to go...

Been seeing a few photographers, video people etc for the wedding
which is a very interesting exercise. We've chosen our photographer,
Simon Casson , who does some really beautiful work so we're pretty
rapt. Take a minute to check
out his website. Video is another matter and it's all down to
personal taste. Some of them have been really good and others not
so.
9 June 2002
Had a Jebu gig on Saturday night after
a long hiatus as a result of a bass player doing an African Safari
and a guitar player having steel pins pulled out of his leg during
consecutive months. Pretty good sounding gig with a receptive audience.

Hello out there. Back again after. Sorry about the delay, I guess
I just couldn't be fagged doing my own web work when it's what I
do everyday for my job now. But with the footy season well underway
(almost half way!) I thought I should get it back together again.
Nothing much has happened since the 1st Qualifying-Final at Footy
Park when we got done by the Hawks last year. The only stuff of
note is that me and Michelle got engaged in Perth in March. Did
the annual Formula One Grand Prix in Melbourne. Sold the TR Magna.
Started our new band, Slinky, and
that's about it. I've dropped or moved a couple of old sections
like CD of the Week, Thunderbirds
page and my F1 Race Reviews
but there are some extras now that you will find if you're looking
around, like my Race Marshal's
Diary and our Footy Tipping Results.
Later Dudes.

Sorry for the late updates, folks. My dear old Grandfather passed
away in Melbourne last week and I have been there for his funeral.
He was 87 and those people that met him before he went into the
nursing home, know he was a piss-funny guy with a great way of telling
stories or a good joke. He was a WWII veteran and told me some stories
that were pretty full-on as most of them were at that time. He will
be missed, sorely.

Testing, testing. Check Check. I've added a new section to Con's
Big Bullshit and All
Sorts called Pearls of Wisdom.
This informative section begins presenting some of the published
information on to the internet. Enjoy.
Tales of a Lad - A Recital by Anthony
"When I was a lad, friends and I would lean on a car..."
See car.

Hello out there in internet land. Winter blues are descending
and there's nothing quite like sitting in front of the fire with
my pipe and slippers. My faithful dog at my feet and the flickering
of the flames lighting up the room. I put another log on the fire
and reminisce. About days gone by when we were young... and
drunk... and foolish. Aaah, yes. Golden days they were.
I can remember a time when I had hair... lots of it, but alas, life
goes on dont'cha know... Friends, the beach, sunshine, the waves
lapping at our feet, cars and girls. The joys of youth. To
go out at night and drink and make merry.
Remember, I've added a Feedback
page so you can add any comments you wish to.
