What do you get when you take the three Italian members of Adelaide-based original band JEBU (Dom Mittiga - guitar/vocals, Tony Coppola - bass/vocals and Anthony Criscitelli - drums/vocals) and throw Chinese/Scottish singer Jason Sym Choon into the mix? A really great pasta dish that you eat with chopsticks? A kilt-wearing mafia organisation? Total confusion?!

Try SLINKY - an energetic, professional and above all entertaining covers band which is able to perform at all kinds of shows, from the traditional pub and club rock gigs with which the members of SLINKY have many years' experience through to private shows and parties of all varieties.

SLINKY's debut performance came at a wedding during November 2001, where the band transformed a formal seated dinner into a raucous dance floor party, much to the delight of the guests. Can you remember the last wedding you went to which ended with the entire bridal party (including the lady herself!) belting out the chorus of Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name" into the microphone?!

SLINKY prides itself on performing faithful and authentic cover versions of popular rock and pop songs. After one recent performance, the band was approached by one very satisfied party-goer who had just won $50 from his friends - they had bet him that SLINKY's live version of The Police's "Message In A Bottle" was in fact the original recorded version being played directly from CD! After confirming that is was in fact the band live on stage, it was time for the losers to pay up....
