Should two borders appear on your screen, your screen resolution will have been set to greater than 1024 x 768
& you'll be using the full window.
To solve this problem simply resize the window until the righthand border disappears.

I receive a great many emails, and many are spam (junk mail).
Therefore you need to identify yourself as a genuine correspondent,
by using terms such as Permaculture, or the title of the page on my website
which particularly interests you
in the subject line.

and your browser is compliant, Re-earth the Cities! may appear in the subject line automatically.
Emails with no subject,
one-word subjects, or generic phrases as subject will almost certainly be deleted.
If you do not receive a reply within a few days, the subject line may be the reason,
or you may need to identify me to your own anti-spam programme.
I am now sometimes asked to join one of the social networking sites, such as Facebook, or LinkedIn.
I do not wish to do so for many very good reasons
If your personal email address is included, I may respond privately, declining the invitation.
If it isn't, please don't be offended if I do not respond to such requests.
If you want to send me photographs, PLEASE reduce the files to a reasonable size.
I am not on broadband,
and large files take ages to download. My ISP doesn't like them much either!
By the way, when I receive a request for specific information,
I take as much time and trouble as is necessary to send a useful and relevant reply.
Even when it is obvious that there has been no attempt on the part of the questioner
to use a search engine, I still take the time to give
simple but relevant instructions on how to search.
A brief "Thankyou!" would be much appreciated.
