The was made for a night to a theatre restaurant called Nero's Fiddle with one of the SF clubs I was a member of at the time. Probably around 1987. VERY basic outfit. Tunic underneath may have even been calico. There was an additional piece around the neck to stop the chafing. The armour itself was brown vinyl with the pteruges on the arms and waist stapled directly to the main cuirass. Each strip had a brass press-stud hammered into the end. The cloak was just red heavy cotton that had been looped and fastened to the front of the cuirass with two large brass studs. A gold loop belt was draped across the front for effect. And, of course, sandles, vambraces and brushing my hair forward and flat.
