Cavalier Officer

I know some re-enactors aim for that "lived in" look. That whole man on the ground thing. I freely admit to being a bit of a dandy on occassion - I'm not a bit fan of dirt and I enjoy some brocade and trim on my clothing. That's probably why I wanted to be a Royalist

The picture on the left is roughly what I'd like to end up with. Gloves, buff coat, sash, doublet with sleeve ribbons and possibly even a gorget. I know a gorget is officer material but I can dream.

Immediate projects are the gloves. Something like this only in grey leather. As well as a tobacco pouch for my pipe tobacco.

Domincan Monk

Not because I have any great love for the Church
but it's just quite a simple costume and would be
reasonably comfortable to get around in.

There's also a multitude of hiding places for
anachronistic things like mobile phones.

Jacobean waistcoat

A little something to go with my kilt
that still has a historical feel to it.
