During November and December 2000, Melbourne hosted the filming of Queen of the Damned
the sequel (of sorts) to Interview with a Vampire. Myself and several hundred other Melbournites
(and a few interstate ring-ins) were given the chance to work as "goth extras" during the course of filming.
