Naval Captain Worn to one of several Victorian Bathing Days the the Costumers' Guild has had. I believe this was down at St. Kilda pier. I remember ending up so sunburnt after this day (though it could have been wind burn). The jacket was actually a lucky find at an op-shop. I believe it's a Merchant Navy uniform though I'm not sure. Usually if I ever find things like this far sale the chances of them actually fitting me are almost nil. Happily this one did! The diving helmet and the Titanic name-plate were made by Rob Jan for his costume for the day. The gorgeous bathing beauty next to me is my friend Samantha.
