Transylvanian Vampyre

For the Australian Costumers' Guild Ball of 2001

This outfit was a combination of things I already had with a couple of pieces made. The shirt was one I already owned. I was a black brocade microfibre with a nehru collar and slightly puffed sleeves.

The tunic I made from some of the leftover damasc from the Musqueteer costume. It was edged in a metallic red shot fabric. The breeches were slightly baggy trousers tucked into my riding boots.

The belt was the one from the fire brigade uniform and the dagger one a long bladed one with a skull and crossbones hilt.

I'd had some new fang "caps" that slipped over my own canines and stopped the lisp that I had with an earlier plate for a similar effect. I let my nails grow out and filed them to rounded points. With the pale make-up, the red contacts and my hair let out (something I don't usually do) the effect was quite good.

The beautiful young lady sitting with me is my friend Lexy.
