This level pushed the limits of the tech, it was so large and complex that it ended up being split into 3 seperate load regions. Beginning on the surface in the small town, the player is required to infiltrate into the mines and put an end to all the chaos. Multiple missions take place on this level; Destroy the generators, Retrieve the documents and Eliminate hostile forces. This level needed to be developed under extreme time constraints. Design/Testing/Geometry/Texturing/Lighting was all to be done in 1 week. I did all of it, with a texture artist supplying me with textures. |
