As teachers - it is very difficult to see beyond our own preferred styles, modalities or intelligences

Just like our students we have different ways of learning and most of us will have a preferred way of learning for most tasks or in new situations. This can have the effect of limiting the kinds of activities we choose to use in our teaching to those we feel most comfortable with.
