Bob Weatherly worked for 33 years in schools, the last 12 as an Arts Coordinator, Dance Teacher and Dance Moderator. He coordinated 17 Rock Eisteddfod items with 4 first places and then became a judge.  He continues to regularly work with schools on arts projects.

 

From 2003, he worked for Patch Theatre Company as a Production and Stage Manager for The Boy and the Bamboo Flute, Aesop’s Fables, Mr McGee and the Biting Flea, Emily Loves To Bounce, Pigs, Bears and Billy Goats Gruff, Sharon Keep Ya Hair On!, Special Delivery, Who Sank The Boat, The Fastest Boy In The World, The Happiest Show On Earth, Me And My Shadow and The Little Green Tractor.

 

Highlights were Patch’s overseas tours to Childrens Festivals in Singapore in 2003, Mineapolis USA in 2004, Canada in 2006, Singapore in 2007, New York at the New Victory Theatre in 2008, Wellington New Zealand and Seoul South Korea in 2009 and The Childrens Theatre in Minneapolis in 2010. In Australia he has worked regularly at the Sydney Opera House, Victorian Arts Centre and Adelaide Festival Centre. He has had major roles in Patch’s eight “Playing Australia” tours to over 60 venues throughout Australia.
