Welcome to the home of Sounds Familiar, the choir for people who love to sing … even if they’ve been told they can’t!   We were formed in August 2013 and have been steadily growing ever since.  We often sing in harmony but many of our songs are more like a relaxed, old-fashioned sing around the piano.  We sing a wide variety of music from old classics to some very modern songs, from very thought-provoking items to others purely for fun.

If you love to sing please visit us.  First visit is free; members pay $7 per week subs to help cover our costs.   Music is provided free and the uniform is simple black / white with a coloured accessory of choice.   There are no other costs involved in membership.

New members are always welcome to join our choir.   You don’t have to have a good voice or any experience at all - there are no auditions or expectations of ability.   All you need is to love singing and be willing to have a go.

For more information, please contact our secretary, Mrs. Georgi Cooper, on (08) 85 232 617 or email our conductor, Lorna Webb: byrd[at]internode.on.net

The full choir can’t always perform at daytime concerts because so many still work.   A small group from the choir have learned to play ukuleles and regularly entertain under the name “Bangers and Mash”.   Visit their pages HERE
