The Delta Conspiracy

Well today we see Australia in an uproar over Mark Philippoussis dumping Delta Goodrem. Do Australians really lead such petty lives of thier own, that they need to comfort themselves amongst the sorrows of others? When I was fourteen, I was dumped by a girl. No-one gave a shit. And lets face it. Delta is nineteen. She is in the entertainment industry. An industry that is tainted with scandel and philanderism. What did we all expect? A real life Cinderalla story? Come on Australia. Live and let live. This is how lessons of life are learned. Just because she has had a battle with cancer does not make her invincible to heartache. It's wonderful that she has alot of support. But do you really think she is going to feel better alot sooner by seeing it plastered all over the headlines. What we are really doing is saying, "look how young and nieve Delta was to let herself be taken in. Lets tell the world Delta is a sucker in love". Good job Australian journalism.
