Finding a job!

Well I've been on the job hunt for about a month now and have yet to secure an interview. I would have thought that with over 10 years of experience in IT and Office equipment that I would easily get an interview. But it would seem that those with the degree's are preferred over those with the job experience. I hope something can break the ice soon as I only have 4 weeks to go before my job is all but over here. Moving to another city isnt as easy as it would appear.
I guess if I was already living in Brisbane, it would be alot easier. If you know of anyone looking for an experienced IT guy, leave me a msg PLEASE!!!!!!!
