Band #11 The new Toybox

Currently I am heading up a Duo called Toybox in Brisbane. I first started out with Matt Northeast playing Keyboards and doing backing vocals. After Matt, I picked up a young guy by the name of Shane Finney. He was a good singer with a powerful voice but lacked any real stability in his life which lead to our parting of ways last week and he moved to Melbourne. I certainly hope he is able to get his shit together and make a mark in the music industry.

I have just hooked up with a new duo partner by the name of Alan McGregor. Alan used to head the U2 tribute band "The Joshua Tree". So needless to say, he can belt out the odd U2 song pretty well. He also sings other songs in a passable manner too. So you can count on seeing more of Alan in future Toybox gigs.

Anyway, now I'm currently a fulltime musician and loving it. At some stage I'd like to re-open my computer repair business when the right opportunity presents itself just to make a few extra dollars. But Toybox has plenty of life left in it. Hopefully there will also be some original offerings in the next year or so.
