
At Yu Ki Do, understanding Japanese terminology
is a requirement of grading.
The required terminology is presented here for white through yellow and orange
to blue belt.
Subsequent colour belts are red, brown (with one and two stripes) and, finally,
black.
Not all the required terminology is listed here (this much should get you
started at least) but if you really need to know, email
me and I'll post the remainder to this page.
As for the correct pronunciation ... you'll just have to come to the dojo!
