SmartBay CCTV System

As part of the innovation process at Contract I.T. we identified an opportunity in the CCTV market. Presently owners of Closed Circuit TV installations are occasionally failing to receive the same level of service that owners of Computer Networks enjoy. This industry wide shortcoming is in the implementation of structured cabling practices. As the number of CCTV installations increases along with cost and complexity, the need for a standard approach by Industry has been identified. Standards Australia has recently published an Australian Standard governing CCTV AS4806 (more).

Contract I.T. have released a number of products under the SmartBay brand to enable CCTV installers to implement a structured cabling system whilst reducing cost by saving installation/commissioning time and improving safety and reliability of the cable infrastructure. 	At Contract I.T. we feel that as technological complexity increases, the demarcation between installation of cable infrastructure and commissioning of equipment will only widen.
