(oshigata from Aoi Art; NBTHK Juyo Token 34th)
Wide and thick osuriage katana with pronounced sori of Naoe Shizu, Mino, of Nanbokucho period. This sword appears to be o-suriage and is attributed to Kanetsugu 兼次 of Naoe Shizu around Kokoku (1340+) to Oan (1368+) eras, and is probably student (and second son?) of Shizu Kaneuji.
