KANEFUSA, late koto period;

mei: “Kanefusa Saku”;
sugata: this is a stretched tanto (sunobi), hira-zukuri, shallow tori-zori, iori-mune.;
nagasa: 40.8 cm; motohaba 3.15 cm; kasane 0.69 cm; sori 1.2 cm
nakago: ubu, three mekugi-ana (two plugged), ha-agari kuri-jiri, san-ji mei;
hamon: nie-deki gunome midare with togariba and dense nie;
boshi: pointed with small-medium kaeri;
kitae: itame hada with strong grain and much jinie and chikei on ji;
horimono: two narrow grooves (futasuji-hi)
