mei: o-suriage mumei;
sugata: katana, extended kissaki, shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, sori 1.8 cm, motohaba 3.1 cm, sakihaba 3.0 cm;
nagasa: 70.3 cm
nakago: o-suriage, mumei, three mekugi-ana, kiri tip;
hamon: ko-gunome midare with subtle kinsuji and sunagashi and fine chikei in ji-hada;
boshi: midare-komi, no kaeri;
kitae: itame and masame mixed;
horimono: koshi-hi on each side;

This rare blade is considered to be from the early Nambokucho period (1330’s) and reflects the
commencement of Mino-den as a style. Kinju came from Echizen Province.
