KANEFUSA late koto (K69): katana

KANEFUSA, late koto period;

mei: “Kanefusa”.
sugata: katana shinogi-zukuri, sakisori of 1.3 cm, iori-mune.
nagasa: 65.8 cm; width at hamachi 2.75 cm, thickness at hamachi (kasane) 0.58 cm, width at kissaki 1.97 cm.
nakago: appears to be shortened, kurijiri tip, 2 mekugi-ana, ni-ji mei.
hamon: strong nie-deki, pointed and small gunome midare, common togariba, many sunagashi plus small kinsuji.
boshi: shortish chu kissaki, midare-komi with small kaeri.
kitae: jitetsu is itame hada with clear grain, some masame mixed, with jinie and chikei.

Smallish katana that has been shortened. There are a number of KANEFUSA, this one is of Kanefusa Ha late Muromachi (Sue-Koto) kodai (later generation), ranked as chu-josaku
