KANEMOTO (nidai?) late Mino (K75): wakizashi

KANEMOTO, late koto period;

mei: “Kanemoto”.
sugata: wakizashi hira-zukuri, torii-sori 0.7 cm, iori-mune.
nagasa: 37.8 cm; width at hamachi 3.14 cm, thickness at hamachi (kasane) 0.61 cm.
nakago: ubu, rounded kurijiri tip, 2 mekugi-ana, ni-ji mei, yasurime looks like higaki.
hamon: nie-deki, semi-regular sanbonsugi, mixed with small notare. Small koshiba back from hamachi.
boshi: pointed jizo with some hakikake, plus nie and medium kaeri.
kitae: jitetsu is itame hada with good grain, and jinie.

Large wakizashi of sunnobi tanto style of late Muromachi period, which has features of nidai Kanemoto (hamon and mei) but not confirmed.
