KANEMITSU late Mino (K86): katana

KANEMITSU, late Muromachi period;

mei: “Noshu Seki Ju Kanemitsu”.
sugata: katana, shinogi-zukuri, torii-zori of 1.1 cm, iori-mune.
nagasa: 60.5 cm; width at hamachi 3.07 cm, thickness at hamachi (kasane) 0.73 cm,
width at kissaki 2.06 cm.
nakago: ubu, kata-yamagata tip, 2 mekugi-ana, roku-ji mei.
hamon: suguha and long shallow notare in lower part, with many ashi and sunagashi.
boshi: chu-kissaki, ko-maru thick nioi-guchi and small-medium kaeri.
kitae: jitetsu is itame hada with obvious grain.
