KANENORI (NOSHU) late Mino (K87): sunnobi tanto

KANENORI, middle Muromachi period;

mei: “Kanenori saku”.
sugata: sunnobi tanto, hira-zukuri, koshi-zori of 0.4 cm, iori-mune.
nagasa: 68.0 cm, width at hamachi 2.66 cm, thickness at hamachi (kasane) 0.63 cm,
width at kissaki 1.71 cm.
nakago: suriage, fuka-kurijiri, 1 mekugi-ana, san-ji mei, higaki yasurime.
hamon: ko-nie-deki ko-gunome midare plus small togari-ba, and shirake and mizukage utsuri.
boshi: midare komi and medium kaeri.
kitae: jitetsu is itame hada with some coarse grain.
horimono: both sides have kaki-nagashi futasuji-hi.

Long tanto of middle Muromachi period around Tenbun (1532+). Within the Seki Sanami Ha and continued into the Shinto.
