KANENAKA katana, early-mid shinto period;

mei: Musashi no Kami Fujiwara Kanenaka
sugata: shinogi zukuri, iori-mune, chu kissaki;
nagasa: 69.0 cm; sori 1.8 cm; motohaba 3.10 cm, sakihaba 2.00 cm, kasane 0.66 cm;
hamon: gunome midare in niedeki, with togari gunome mixed, many ashi plus small kinsuji and some sunagashi;
boshi: komi midare slighlty pointed ko-maru (small notare?), small kaeri;
kitae: jitetsu of itame hada, with clear grain and texture;
nakago: ubu, one mekugi ana, nana-ji mei, kata yamagata;

A thick blade with obvious curvature, and shows many features of Kanemoto, that was typical Kanenaka work.
