It is my belief that Alfa made a mistake when producing the RHD version of the 75. Alfa take power for the
fusebox from the terminal on the inner right hand guard and use two 8 gauge wires to handle the current.

But Alfa forgot that power to this terminal comes from the starter solenoid via a single 8 gauge wire and that
the terminal also provides power for the radiator cooling fan and the A/C compressor.

A single 8 gauge wire just can't handle the load when the radiator cooling fan is running.

On the T.S. this seems to cause a slight hesitation when accelerating from low revs while the fan is running.

You will need a new 4 gauge (approx 8mm diam copper) wire 1050mm long with a eyes each end, one with a
6mm hole (terminal end) and one with an 8mm hole (solenoid end). Disconnect the battery, remove the
airbox and replace the wire.

Be careful with the positioning of the wire and prevent chafing as this wire comes from the battery unfused.

In the following photo, the wire from the starter solenoid has been replaced with a 4 gauge wire.
It was originally the same size as the wire marked 'immobilizer'.
