Windscreen Washer without wipers

I really hate having my wipers scrape across a dry windscreen.
This modification will allow you to use the windscreen washers without the wipers starting automatically.
It is an easy mod. and can be undone if desired.

Step 1: Remove the wiper intermittance relay from the fusebox. (Green Arrow)



Step 2: Open the relay by prying it open at the base.

Step 3: Desolder (or cut) the 220 ohm resistor (Red Arrow).



Step 4: Reassemble the relay. (you might check the soldering on the rest of the board while you can)

Step 5: Reinstall the relay in the fusebox.

That's all, easy wasn't it :-)
