~Cosima De Vito~

Guy was always my favourite to win but after him was Cosima and Paulini. I first saw Cosima doing 'Hot Stuff' and thought - wow, this girl is gorgeous, and what a voice! She was immediately my second favourite to win.
Though eventually Paulini edged her out as my second favourite, a good deal because I didn't like a lot of the songs Cosima chose, I still like Cosima a lot and I hope she gets better soon and does make records and stuff. She's heaps good and it was definitely a shame about her having to pull out, though I guess it was for the best.
My favourite Cosima songs were early in the series - Hot Stuff, Feel the Heat ("I wanna dance with somebody"), When the War is Over - but some of her later stuff, like Respect and L-O-V-E, were also very cool. I wasn't a big fan of ballads like 'Hero' or 'I believe I can fly' (regardless of who sings them) so they didn't grab me, but her fun stuff couldn't be beat. It's so cool to see a singer enjoy themselves when they perform. I reckon 'River Deep, Mountain High' would have kicked some serious butt if she'd been in her usual form.

They talk about certain performers having the "whole package". I think Cosima has it. I don't know if she can write or play music, but apart from that, she's got a great voice, good style, good moves - she's a cool dancer, she connects with her songs, and she's really beautiful. Marcia continually lauded her for taking all feedback and making good use of it to better herself as a performer.
(And doesn't she have a cool name? "Cosima De Vito!" That is such a cool name. Okay, that has nothing to do with anything. ^_^.)
